HOW TO FAKE 8 HRS OF SLEEP
11 Nov 2021
Do you wake up in the morning and look more tired than when you went to sleep? Or even worse, have you ever decided to wear no makeup at work, and people kept asking you if you are sick?
Well, we feel you girl..
Under eye bags can be a huuge pain in the a**! But don’t you worry, we got the perfect formula of how to fake 8 hours of sleep.
First of all, let me just clear the air! Having bags is veery common and most of the time it’s genetic so don’t you ever think for a moment that you are doing something wrong. Just remember to hydrate all day long, eat and sleep well!
Here are a few extra tricks you can do to up your game.
Keep your eye cream in the fridge.
The coolness of the cream will soothe and de-puff your undereye bags.
#PROTIP: Keep 2 spoons in the freezer for those SOS days, where you wake up hangover and have to be a bridesmaid in a wedding or something. Press them underneath your eyes after applying your eye cream for express de-puffing.
Instead of panicking and applying tons of foundation and concealer in order to cover up your circles and end up looking like a 90 year old trapped in a 30 year old’s body try this for a change.
Apply an orange shade of concealer ONLY in the areas you want to cover up. And remember in this case LESS IS MORE. Once you’ve done that, apply your concealer on top just to bring back your natural skin tone and brighten the under eye.
If you are still struggling with your bags, apply with a very small brush, a super light tone concealer JUST on the line where the bag is created. This is all about the principle of light and shadows. So you apply the light (a.k.a light tone concealer) onto the shadow (the fold of the bag) to bring it forward and create the illusion of a flat surface.
I know, it’s mind blowing right?
You’re welcome world!
